Richelle Ji is the co-founder of Ensural, an insurtech startup that enables insurance companies to optimize their underwriting and risk management process through artificial intelligence. Prior to co-founding Ensural, Richelle held various positions at AIG, Bank of Montreal and Sun Life Financial, where she gained experience in property and casualty insurance, banking and enterprise risk management. While working for these top financial institutions she conducted due diligence on multinational corporations and facilitated corporate innovation strategies, as well as advised fintech and insurtech startups.
Previously, Richelle worked at a Chinese venture capital firm in Shanghai where she evaluated early-stage startups in edutech, fintech and online gaming. She has a bachelor of commerce in finance from Queen’s University’s Smith School of Business where she co-founded the Queen’s Startup Summit.
