Senior Manager, Early- and Mid-Career Programs
Kate Boyle manages MaRS Talent Development. As an educator, designer and coach, Kate works with high-potential leaders as they grapple with how to influence large-scale systems change. As manager of learning and curriculum development, she leads MaRS Talent Development’s faculty and staff in delivering MaRS’ innovative systems leadership curriculum, which teaches systems change, innovation by design, anti-oppressive practices, cross-sector connectivity and leadership.
Kate believes that today’s complex problems require a new type of leader: one who can understand problems with a systems lens; connect and engage stakeholders across sectors, cultures and boundaries; and innovate new solutions. Her extensive career in leadership development has held a sustained focus on working with leaders who are entrepreneurial, unconventional, and values and impact driven.
Kate holds a master of education with a specialization in adult education and community development from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. She is currently training to become a certified professional coach with the Coaches Training Institute.
