At MaRS, we’ve always believed that the future will require leaders to tackle complex problems with creative solutions. We designed the Building Future Leaders program to foster the creative potential of K–12 students and teachers.
Informed by the core tenets of entrepreneurship, Building Future Leaders provided teachers with training and activity building blocks to support their lessons, while also affording students with training and learning opportunities like summer boot camps, hackathons and in-class experiences.
Building Future Leaders ended in 2016 after five years of successful programming. It empowered hundreds of participants through its innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship curriculum.
